Charging Station is a brand new website specifically designed to help electric vehicle (EV) users (including electric cars and electric vans) find their nearest charging station, and help them plan routes in the UK.
Depending upon your electric car you will have a different range before your car needs charging again. Some electric cars will do more than 100 miles before they need recharging (and some cars considerably more), however other cars will need charging before the 100 mile mark. If in doubt consult your manufacturer before you set off. The big car manufacturers are increasingly devoting resources to electric car production, and with the increase in petrol prices combined with the need to reduce our carbon footprint electric cars are not only coming, but they will be here to stay - and for many years to come!
